My proudest moment as a business owner and wedding planner culminated in March when I was named the "2006 Destination Wedding Planner" by The Travel Channel and featured in their "Wedding Survival Guide" with a personal interview and footage of weddings I had have planned on St. John.
I am still in awe of St John's beauty, and I am very happy to call this island my home. I can think of no better place to stand and say "I Do" to the one you love!

About Stacy
After graduating from college, I worked in a hotel as an Event Planner. It was here that I learned the “ins and outs” of party planning for large groups, corporate events, and weddings. It was then that I knew I wanted to focus on planning weddings exclusively.
While working in a private country club I organized corporate lunches and evening dinner functions during the week. But my weekends were devoted to designing and coordinating wedding receptions with a keen sense for wedding etiquette.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights I created and managed the details of wedding decorations, table designs, linen selections, and hired vendors. Overseeing cocktail parties, wine pairings, butlered hors d'oeuvres, plated or buffet dinners, dessert displays, wedding cakes and cordial bars was my weekly endeavor.
With my event planning knowledge and extensive food and beverage expertise, I was ready to open my own business as a wedding planner. I was both surprised and elated to learn that there was no professional wedding planning company on
St. John ~ I am the first!
I immediately acquired our trade name, Ceremonies of St. John, a business licenses from the US Virgin Islands Government, and a business license from the US Virgin Islands National Park, Insurance for the business, and became a Charter Member of the Caribbean Bridal Association.
Years later, I am still here enjoying the Caribbean, and more importantly, thoroughly enjoying creating new and exciting wedding celebrations.
Although many others have tried to copy what I do, Ceremonies of St. John is constantly recognized by national media in magazines such as "Destination Weddings and Honeymoons" and "Elite Traveler," on top wedding web sites such as "theknot.com" and my television debut with The Travel Channel when they pronounced me as "the only professional wedding planner on St. John."
To our past brides, thank you for your confidence and friendships garnered throughout the years. To future brides, I hope you will consider me your friend on St. John and the one person you can ask any question to help you plan your special day.
